"One of my Drill Sergeants said they were not able to "break me". This pleased me and may be one of the reasons our First Sergeant took a liking to me. Very few privates are not broken! This is most likely the result of my training at Pacific Rim and the fact that I went into the Army already disciplined!"
PVT. Simmons is off to Germany on Oct. 23 following 16 days of leave visiting his family in Minn. His unit may deploy to Iraq in February, but nothing is definite yet.
